Peer Review Process

A. Manuscript Tracking

After completing the submission process, the corresponding author may view the current status of a manuscript at any time in the Prism queue will be displayed. The Manuscript ID number will link to the PDF version of the manuscript. The paper title will link to a status page, which gives the current status of the manuscript, lists all activities performed on the manuscript and shows the submission details.

B. Revised Manuscripts

Manuscripts returned to the author for revision should be returned to board as quickly as possible. The decision email will include the due date for submission of the revised manuscript. Any revisions received after that date will be assigned a new received date. After revising the paper and writing a detailed reply to the reviewers with a list of changes made to the paper, the corresponding author will log onto the board Author queue to submit a revised manuscript and response. The editor will then make a final decision or choose to send the manuscript back to reviewers.

C. Accepted Manuscripts

All accepted papers are subject to editing to ensure readability and conformity to journal style. If a student-level reader might find your English difficult to understand, please have a colleague who is fluent in English edit your paper before you submit it to Editorial Board. Authors will receive page proofs of their papers; typically, authors are prompted by e-mail to log in and access PDF proofs from a vendor website. Page proof corrections should be returned the Editorial Department as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of receipt and preferably by e-mail, to avoid publication delays.
